All four sections of the Basic Tango Curriculum should be completed prior to starting this level of study. Five different Pre-Intermediate sections must be completed before going on to Intermediate level tango courses. While starting the pre-intermediate program, it is recommended that you continue reviewing the basic sections.
There is a rotation of five different Pre-Intermediate sections, which you must complete before going on to Intermediate level tango courses. They may be taken in any order and rotate monthly. This section rotate as follows:
Apr - C: Turning the follower on a dime: technique & a lot of examples
May - D: Music: Phrases. Melody. Sharp vs flowing movement.
Jun- E: Close Embrace: ocho cortado and linking the basics.
Jul - A: Crossed system vs parallel: the cross & beautiful ochos
Aug - B: Molinetes/grapevine turns: law, technique, cool turns to left & right
